Lebanon Public Library will be celebrating International Games Day with a Family Game Night from 6 to 8:30 pm on Saturday, November 19th. People attending the event are invited to join in playing life-sized Candyland. Participants are invited to bring their own favorite board game or play one the library offers. There is a chance to win fun prizes playing BINGO beginning at 7:30 pm. Snacks will be provided during BINGO.
International Games Day began nine years ago. This year more than 2000 libraries worldwide take part in this annual event. International Games Day is an initiative run by volunteers from around the world and supported by the American Library Association's Games and Gaming Round Table, in collaboration with Nordic Game Day and the Australian Library and Information Association, to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games.
